ResLife Portal - 2016 Product Design Update

Existing web-based system for student housing at colleges and universities. The interface wasn't mobile-friendly, with a responsive / adaptive layout for various screen sizes.

Challenge

  • Convert the core features of the system to a mobile-friendly layout
  • Use this as an opportunity to reevaluate workflows to further improve

Solution

  • Created a new dashboard and navigation menu experience, to optimize for computers, tablets, and smartphones.
  • Dashboard includes new overview summaries and visualizations, as well as shortcuts to deeper content. Goal: to provide useful information quickly.
